Secret Heart Chapter 12

Hey Luvs! Srry I cant get the story out faster but I only get the time every weekend to update. O and btw im keeping Sheng to my self cuz my stupid friends (you know who you are) kept complaining that it was too hard to choose between 2 guys : ex. Between anyone and Sheng So Sheng is mine but I may reconsider if you Luvs message me and tell me why I shouldnt. Well on with the quiz Luvs!!!

Recap
Once at the main hall you all say your good byes to Adam. You say good bye last and give him a kiss on the cheek.
Out of the corner of your eye you see the other boys get jealous. Then Adam opens the door, slings his bag over his shoulder and takes flight into the night. (Yay! You finally spent a whole day with them!)

~Quiz Start~

You stand in the doorway lookign into the night sky watching Adam fly farther and farther away. You feel someone come up behind you and put their arms around you.

"Well, what do you wanna do now? Its only 8 o'clock.", comes Jakes voice behind you.

"I dont know... ill probably just wander around here til I find something to do....", you reply.

"Alright then. Well if you need me ill be in the library. Later.", Sheng says as he walks off.

"Come on lets get u inside. Your starting to shiver", Jake says rubbing your arms.

You hadnt noticed it but you were starting to shiver. It wasnt exactly a chilly night but it wasnt hot either.

You both walk inside and Jake shuts the door behind him. This is when you notice Ace isnt anywhere to be found.

"Hey, where did Ace go?"

"I dont know... hes around here somewhere.", Jake replies unconcerned," So what ya gonna do now? You still just wanna wonder? Or you can join me in the kitchen if ya want...."

"I think Ill just wander fur a bit... Ive only seen part of this place so I wanna see more."

"Fine with me. But if you need me or just wanna hang, Ill be in the kitchen", he says giving you a kiss on the cheek and heading toward the kitchen.

You walk around for a while aimlessly. Not really heading anywhere. Soon you come to the big oak doors of the library. You walk in and find Sheng spread over one of the long couches in there reading.

He notices you come in and he smiles at you.

"Hey Angel. Whats up?", he asks sitting up.

"Nothing.... just kinda bored...looking for something to do or someplace to hang.", you say and walk over and sit next to him.

"Your welcome to join me here if you want."

"Thanks"

"No prob."

"Do you mind if I ask you a question?"

"Go ahead."

"Kool. So... uhhh.. Whats it like being a werewolf?", you ask shyly feeling that its such a stupid question.

He laughs and says, " Well, if you like extreme pain and turning all hairy at least once a month with a big taste for blood then its not so bad."

"I see....", you say a little awkward after he says this lightly.

"Yeah. But I have control over myself when I change but people still have to be careful around me because I could just lose it. But other than that its pretty kool. You have super speed and strength. Keen sight and sense of smell. And tons of energy. Especially for the important things.", after he says that he winks at you and gives you a smirk.

You had heard and read that werewolves had heightened sex appeal and sex drive. They were also horny a lot but thats just you have heard. And Sheng was proving most of this right now. (Me: Dont worry hes mine ShengLuvers: NOOO!!!! You cant take away my Sheng!!!Me: Too bad hes mine.*growls*)

You give him a look that says you know what he means and to stop now.

He laughs and says, "Well, Im gonna go out for a run. You wanna come with me?"

"No thanks, I dont have the energy to run.", you say emphasizing the word energy.

"Fine suit yourself.", he says as he gets up, puts his book back on the shelf, and walks toward the front door.

You start get the munches so you head towards the kitchen. When you get there you see Jake covered in flour. You cant help but laugh. As soon as you do he looks up at you and makes a face.

"What happened to you?", you ask Jake trying not to laugh but it isnt working.

"Well, I was baking cookies from scratch for you and then that idiot runs through here like a bat out of hell and knocks the bag of flour I was holding all over me and everything else.", Jake says with and annoyed tone.

"You dont have to make me cookies ya know."

"Yeah I do. I like to cook. And besides how am I gonna prove that im not that immature as I usually act.. "he says dusting flour off himself.

You walk over to him and help dust him off. Then You offer to help him bake your cookies.

"Ill help you bake the cookies. I havent baked in a while."

"Sure. Could you grab me a couple of eggs from the fridge while I go get more flour. O and by the way, you wanna help me get pay back at Sheng?"

"Sure. How we gonna do that?"

"Well while he is gone we can rig the door to his room so that when it opens flour hits him right in the face."

"Awesome! Lets do it!"

"Ok but we gotta work fast and get back down here and act normal so he doesnt suspect a thing. Got it?"

"Yup! Lets go!"

The both of you walk into the pantry and get out a medium size sack of flour. Then the two of you run over to Shengs room and start to rig the door. But you run into some complications. Neither of you is tall enough to reach the ceiling to set up the rig.

"Damn. How are we gonna do this. We dont have time to go get the ladder and besides hes outside and so is the ladder . Hell see us.", Jake says getting a little frustrated.

"Need some help?", comes Aces voice from the hall.

"Yeah we do. Neither of us is tall enough to reach the ceiling.", you tell him.

"Ok. And why may I ask are you rigging Shengs door?"

Jake gets an annoyed look on his face and you giggle.

"Sheng threw flour in his face. Well not throw per say but.... more like knocked flour on Jake and the entire kitchen."

"Right....", was Aces reply. He reaches up and sets up the last bit of the rig."Well that should do it. But I dont see why you couldn't have hovered you idiot.

"Well if I hovered Sheng would have sensed it and have come back and it would be ruined.", Jake says simply.

"Anyways you two should get back into the kitchen and hurry."

All three of you leave Shengs room and Ace carefully shuts the door. The you go your separate ways.
You and Jake get back to the kitchen and start to bake your cookies waiting the return of Sheng.

You heard him come in the front door and run up to his room.

The you hear a big, "Ooofff!" comming from his direction.

"I think we got him.", you say in a perky tone.

"I think we did", he says giving you a high five.

The two of you quickly return to baking the cookies as you heard Sheng coming down the hall.

"JAKE!!!", Sheng screams as he enters the kitchen. You see hes covered head to foot in flour.

"You rang?", says Jake in a mocking butler tone.

"You rigged my door with flour!"

"Did not! You can even ask Angel. We were in her baking cookies the whole time."

"Then who was it? Ace?"

"I dont know... maybe. Why dont you go ask him.", says Jake trying not to crack up. You try not to as well.

Sheng shoots Jake a death glare and storms off to take a shower.

As soon as he leaves you and Jake start to crack up. Once you both settle down and continue baking. The you two start to get silly and fling dough and flour at each other and having fun. Soon all you cookies you guys made are done and you and Jake sit down to eat them each with a tall glass of milk.

"Mmmm. These are really good."

"I know.", says Jake through a mouth full of cookies.

After you finish up with your milk and cookies Jake says, "Well you better get to bed Angel. Its late."

You look up at the clock on the wall and it says 11:15. "Wow. We spent all that time baking? It only felt like two hours or something."

"I know. Time flies when you having fun dont it?"

"Yeah it does. Well, good night"

"Good night", he replies and gives you a kiss on the cheek.

The you go on you way to find Aces room.
